A Note on Intention

Some moments are left exactly as they are. Others are quietly elevated. Knowing the difference is the work.

The House Standard

Two photographers. Always.

Every wedding is photographed by two of us, without exception. While one composes, the other watches the room: your mother's expression, your friends mid-laughter, the moment behind the moment. Nothing is missed because no one is alone.

Beyond the wedding day.

We are one of the few houses to specialise in bridal boudoir and couples portraiture alongside the wedding itself, so your story can begin before the day and continue long after it.

Anywhere it takes us.

From English country houses to coastlines considerably further from home, we photograph weddings across the UK and worldwide. Distance is a detail, not an obstacle.

The House

Built on twenty years behind the lens.

House of Elizabeth is led by an award-winning, internationally published photographer with two decades of experience across weddings, fashion and studio editorial work.

That history shows in the quiet things: the calm direction, the discipline of the frame, the patience to wait for the real moment rather than manufacture a false one.

A Philosophy

"Luxury is not excess. It is time. It is care. It is intention."

The Investment

Wedding collections begin at £1,950.

Every collection includes two photographers as standard, with payment plans available across the house. Bridal boudoir and couples portraiture from £599.

About the House

Twenty years of looking closely.

House of Elizabeth was not built quickly, and that is rather the point. It rests on more than twenty years of professional photography across weddings, fashion and editorial studio work, years spent learning when to direct and when to disappear.

The house is led by an award-winning photographer whose work has been published in magazines and campaigns internationally. But credentials are only the beginning of trust. What matters more is this: on the day itself, you will be photographed by people who are calm, prepared and genuinely glad to be there.

The Way We Work

Our approach sits between two traditions. From documentary photography we take honesty, the conviction that the best moments of a wedding cannot be staged, only noticed. From editorial photography we take craft: light, composition, and the discipline of a considered frame.

In practice, it means most of your day is simply observed. You will be gently guided where it matters (portraits, the details, the light worth walking thirty seconds for) and left entirely alone where it doesn't. The result is a collection that feels effortless and elevated at once: honest in feeling, editorial in finish.

Every wedding is photographed by two of us. It is not an upgrade and never will be. It is simply how the house works. Two perspectives, two sets of instincts, and the quiet confidence that while one of us is with you, the other is with everyone you love.

And because we believe your story is larger than a single day, the house also specialises in bridal boudoir and couples portraiture: private, beautifully made sessions before or after the wedding itself. Few studios take both as seriously as the wedding. We consider them part of the same body of work.

The Portfolio

The Experience

From first enquiry to the final print.

Being photographed well should feel easy. Here is how the house works, in six movements.

IThe Enquiry

A simple beginning

You write to us with your date, your venue or destination, and anything you'd like us to know. We reply personally, usually within a day, to confirm availability and send the Investment Guide.

IIThe Conversation

A consultation, not a sales call

We meet, in person or by video, to talk about the day you're planning and how you'd like it to feel. You'll know quickly whether we are right for each other. We believe in that being mutual.

IIIThe Reservation

Your date, secured

A signed agreement and reservation fee hold your date exclusively. Payment plans are available across every collection, arranged quietly and without ceremony.

IVBefore the Day

The story begins early

This is where the house differs. Many couples add a couples portrait session or bridal boudoir editorial before the wedding. Time in front of the camera that makes the day itself feel like second nature, and produces work that stands on its own.

VThe Wedding

Two photographers, one standard

On the day, two of us are with you from preparations onward. One leads; one watches the wider room. You will barely notice the work being done, which is precisely the idea. Direction where it matters, invisibility where it doesn't.

VIThe Delivery

Curated, finished, yours

Every image is individually edited, with no batch presets and no shortcuts, and delivered in a private online gallery, with fine art albums and prints available to complete the work. A few sample photos will arrive early, because we know you won't want to wait for everything.

The Investment

Made once. Kept forever.

Long after the day, the photographs are what remain. The house offers a refined set of collections, each one including two photographers as standard, each one available with a payment plan.

Questions, Answered

The things couples ask us.

Do you really bring two photographers to every wedding?

Yes, always, and it is never an optional extra. Two photographers means two perspectives on every moment: the ceremony and the reaction to it, the speech and the laughter it causes. It is the single greatest difference in how complete a wedding collection feels, so we made it the house standard rather than an upgrade.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

Gladly. The house photographs weddings across the UK and worldwide. Travel is arranged simply as part of your collection, and we handle the logistics, so you will never be asked to organise our flights. Tell us where, and we will be there early, rested, and ready.

How far in advance should we enquire?

We take a limited number of weddings each year, and popular dates, particularly summer Saturdays and destination weeks, are reserved early. Twelve to eighteen months ahead is common; that said, it is always worth asking about your date, whatever it is.

Are payment plans really available on every collection?

Yes, on every collection in the house: weddings, boudoir and portraits alike. A reservation fee secures your date, and the remainder can be spread in instalments arranged around you. It is handled quietly and never affects what you receive.

Will you pose us? We're not natural in front of a camera.

Almost no one is, and almost everyone says this. Our approach blends unposed, natural moments with gentle, considered direction only where it matters. You will never be contorted into shapes from someone else's wedding. Most couples tell us afterwards they forgot the cameras were there, which is exactly the intention.

What exactly is bridal boudoir, and is it private?

A bridal boudoir session is a private editorial: elegant, fine art photographs of you, often made before the wedding and sometimes given as a gift on the wedding morning. It is photographed with complete discretion, styled to your comfort, and the images belong to you alone. Nothing is ever shared without your written permission.

When and how do we receive our photographs?

A few sample photos will arrive within days of the wedding, often much sooner, because we know the wait is the hardest part. Your full collection follows in a private online gallery, with every image individually edited; this normally takes four to eight weeks. Fine art albums and prints can then be designed with you, at your pace.

How do we secure our date?

Begin with an enquiry, by the form, by email, or by telephone. Once we have confirmed availability and you have the Investment Guide, a signed agreement and reservation fee hold your date exclusively. From that moment, it is yours.
